Adobe GoLive CS2 makes it easy to create time consuming effects, in this case a web image rollover. These roll-overs are used all over the web, and usually require some difficult coding for the beginner, but not with GoLive CS2
First Thing you want to do is create atleast 2 images, one for when the image is loaded on the page, and another for when the cursor moves over the image. Ok, I'll wait while you get that done........
Now that you have your images, open your .html file where you wish to have your rollover effect, and place your image on the page. Your page should Look something like this:

Example of Roll-Over Effect
Move your cursor over the a to view effect:
Now click the image to select it, and then click on the window Icon in your program menu. In that menu click on rollovers, you will have a window appear that looks like this:
Ok, so now we have the roll-over window open, to complete your effect, click in the window where it says over, once that is selected click on the "Create New Roll Over Image" Icon (The little finger pointing next to the trash can) Once you click on the icon, you will have two new input boxes appear one that says name/id and one that says URL. In the URL input box type the location of the second image you created, or click on the file icon at the end of the box to browse for the image. Once you have the correct image slected your roll over window should look like this:
Thats it! Your roll over effect is now completed. If you like, you can create two more images for when the image is clicked (down) and when it is released (Click) Enjoy your roll overs!
