GoLive CS2 Smart Objects Tutorial
In Adobe GoLive CS2 The objects grid is the bread and butter of your sites design. From this menu you can access all of the tools necessary to build your site from the ground up.
We will be explaining these objects from top left to bottom right. These are by no means complete explanations, but will get you familiar with each individual object. Through the use of Smart Objects, Web Design has gotten a whole lot eaiser, No Longer do you have to switch programs to re-size an image or ortimize the image for web viewing, for more info see our Using Smart Objects tutorial .
Smart Photoshop Object - This object when placed into your page in design view creates a smart photoshop Icon which can be loaded with a .psd file.
Smart In-Design Object - Use this object to place a native In Design File in your web page
Smart PDF Object - This object can be used to place a .PDF File within your webpage.
Smart Generic Object - Use this object to place a Generic Image file into your webpage
Smart Favorite Icon Object - This object is to be placed in the Head portion of your web site while in design view. With this Object you can eaisly add a Favorite Icon to your web pages.
Componet Object - Use this Object to create a re-usable componet into your wep pages via Adobe GoLive CS2's componet Extra. The componet must be created first .
Modifeid Date Object - Use this object to create a place on your web site where it displays the last time the page was modified.
URL Pop-up Object - This object can be used to have a drop down menu with links to other pages
Body Action Object - Use this object to add a body action to your pages
Head Action Object - Use this Object to create a head Object for your Web Pages
Browser Switch Object - Use this Object to create a browser switch.
