2006, the Year of Windows Vista?

Sometime later this year (hopefully) the new edition of windows, formerly code named "longhorn" now named Windows Vista will be shipping out with new PC's and flying off of retailers shelfs. So the question remains, why upgrade? What is going to be so special about Vista that we should ditch XP and buy this new operating system? Is it necessary? Will I need to buy a new computer to handle it? Can my current computer handle it, or will I need to Upgrade certain parts?
Well, here at TechnolgyTutorials.org we are going to attempt to gaze into the future and answer these questions for you so that you can be prepared for the soon to come Vista mayhem.
First things first, unless you wish to join the conversation at the water-cooler about how long it took to install Windows Vista, and gripe about configuration problems, you might want to let the craze pass over a bit before you go out and try to upgrade. Rest assure you Windows XP (or yes, even Windows 98) will still work just fine. The major changes that Vista will bring to the table are cosmetic and not all that necessary, yet. That being said, major changes are happening under the hood as well and should be considerable for some.
