GoLive CS2 Objects Tutorial
In Adobe GoLive CS2 The objects grid is the bread and butter of your sites design. From this menu you can access all of the tools necessary to build your site from the ground up.
We will be explaining these objects from top left to bottom right. These are by no means complete explanations, but will get you familiar with each individual object.
Layout Grid - This object builds your page with CSS instead of traditional tables. Generally the use of CSS creates a faster loading page .
Layout Text Box - Use this object to add a text box to your site. Just drag and drop.
Layer Object - Use this object to create photoshop like layers
Table Object - This object adds a table to your page.
Image Object - Used to add an image (not a smart image)
Plug-in Object - Used to re-direct your visitors to a plug in
SWF - Used to add a flash .swf movie to your site
Quicktime Object - Use this to add a Quick time object to your site.
Real Object - This object will add a real player file to your site
SVG Object - SVG is a vector fomat image for shapes paths and text.
Windows Media - Use to add a windows media file to your site.
Java Applet - Add Java to your site with this object
Object - Use to add a misc. Object to your site.
Line Object - Use this object to add a page break line to your site , this line can be editied for size.
Horizontal Spacer - Used to add a horizontal spacer to your page.
Java Script - Use this object to add a Java Script to your page
Marquee Object - Add a Text Marquee to your site with this object.
Comment - add a comment to your html code through the design view with this usefull object.
Anchor Object - Use this to add an anchor to your site.
Line Break - Also used to add a line break to your site
Tag Object - Use this object to add lines of code to a specific place in design view. I love this object! Very Usefull if you like to see things laid out visually.
