GoLive CS2 Form Tutorial (page 2)

Now Select the object you just placed by clicking on it. Try to click on it when you cursor changes to the arrow with the square. This will happen around the edges of your form object. Once the object is selected, your inspector toolbox will change to this:

The inspector shows all of the parts neccesary to get your form going:
Name/ID - Name your form whatever you like. try to keep it short and simple. myform will do fine.
Action - This is the command you tell the form to do once the submit button is pushed, in this case write mailto:youremail@yourdomain.com
Encode - Don't worry about this one yet, this is for a later lesson
Method - Method can be either GET or POST in this case switch your method to POST (Use GET to create dynamic pages with the form values in the address)
Inventory - We will skip this for now as well.

Now drag and drop a Text Field Object
And a submit button object
If you select the text field object in your window, look at the inspector toolbox again, it will display the option you have for the text box.
Name - name the box whatever you want, textbox1 will do fine
Value - fill this in if you want your box to display text on page load. Their are also some more advanced features you can play around with such as is password field, etc.. more on them later, lets finish this form.
